I'm so Happy You're Here!

I have always wanted to become a librarian! I may have gotten a tad bit waylaid along the way, but here I am ready to empower literacy! I have 5+ years in working in a public library. I currently employed at L.E. Smoot Memorial Library (click on the Smoot.org link to visit the library page). I bring many skills to the table: proficiency in cataloging standards (RDA and MARC), passionate about customer service and creating exciting programs for patrons, exemplary organizational skills, and an ability to adapt to new library policies and procedures. I am a lifelong bibliophile, beach comber, animal lover, and gardener. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, and creating aromatherapy concoctions.
